    General terms & conditions

    1. General Terms and Conditions for the website of Bazar Bizar Bali

    These General Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions made online with Bazar Bizar Bali. Please read them carefully before you place an order. All agreements are subject to and will be interpreted in accordance with Indonesian law, and all disputes between the parties shall be exclusively settled by the Indonesian courts. Nothing in these General Conditions shall be deemed to affect your statutory rights.

    By making use of this website, you accept these General Conditions. All transactions with Bazar Bizar Bali are subject to these General Terms and Conditions.

    The words 'the company', 'we' or 'us/our' always refer to Bazar Bizar Bali. The word 'customer' always refers to the person or persons who purchase(s) goods from the company or agree(s) to purchase goods. Every reference to 'the website' implies a reference to all URLs that are the property of Bazar Bizar Bali.

    2. Prices

    Our prices are directly displayed on our webshop. 

    3. Minimum Order Quantity

    The minimum order quantity is always mentioned next to each product on this website. If you choose to buy greater quantities, discounted prices are also shown next to the product (up to 20% discount).

    4. Packing terms

    Single face packing is included in our price. Custom made packaging and labeling is available at an additional cost. This cost will be communicated upon request.

    5. Production / Delivery terms

    Orders take between 4 and 12 weeks to be produced, depending on the quantity and type of items in the order. Final leadtime will be informed within 3 business days of your order confirmation. Production starts on the day after we've received your deposit in our bank account.

    6. Payment terms

    Prices in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) and United States Dollar (USD) on this website are always conversions of Euro (EUR). Only the price in Euro (EUR) is valid. A 50% deposit of the order total is required to initiate the order. Order processing starts the day after the payments clear on our bank account. The final balance payment is required 7 days prior to the shipment date.

    We accept payments through our provided payment link (creditcard, Paypal, bank payment) or by bank transfer. Prices are net. Bank costs other than our local bank charges must be paid in full amount.

    Creditcard payments: the Bank of Indonesia levies a 3% charge on all inward creditcard transfers. This fee will be added to your invoice.

    Bank transfers: the Bank of Indonesia levies a 500.000 IDR charge on all inward transfers. This fee will be added to your invoice.

    Order cancellation: deposits are non-refundable.

    7. Shipping terms

    Prices shown are quote Ex-Works our warehouse depending on the production area (Canggu/Padonan in Bali and Yogyakarta/Bantul in Java).

    Upon request at the time of your order confirmation, we can provide you a quote for local charges (FOB Surabaya or Semarang), air freight or see freight (DDU or DAP).

    For FOB prices, an additional 15% from your total product order (excluding special packing/labelling) will be added on your invoice.

    For any order containing suar wood (munggur) we recommend choosing a reefer container. When keeping suar products at a stable temperature during the voyage on land or sea, the wood will not contract and expand. This can prevent most cracks in the wood upon delivery.

    8. Storage terms

    Orders that are delayed for shipment because of non-balance payments will incur a 3% warehouse storage fee per week based on the invoice value.

    9. Customs

    All countries have their own laws regarding the import of certain products. Bazar Bizar Bali has no control over these charges. Please note that understanding import restrictions and the payment of any associated import duties and taxes is the responsibility of the purchaser/receiver.     10. Return terms

    Before shipping, both parties will perform an inspection and confirm based on mutual agreement. Therefore we do not accept exchanges or returns. Due to the nature of our products and the use of natural materials, our products usually do not have a warranty. Exceptions can be made only by Bazar Bizar Bali based on their own judgement.

    11. Product discrepancy policy

    Bazar Bizar Bali attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, properties, imagery or any other content of the website is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free. Despite our best efforts a small number of items in our catalogue may be mispriced. If the correct price of an item sold by us is higher than the stated price, we will - at our discrection - either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of this. Other merchants may follow different policies in the event of a mispriced item.

    12. Shipping time

    International shipping will take 7 to 45 days depending on the destination country. We don't take any responsibility for the goods to arrive in time, even if express shipping was used. Since we use third party courier services, some problems might occur such as an incomplete address, shipment traffic delays, and so on. To deal with any delays, the customer can contact the third party courier's customer service.

    The shipment of orders will only be processed once the full invoice amount including shipping fees has been cleared on our bank account. 

    We are not responsible for any damage or loss after the shipment has been picked up by the third party courier service. We're also not responsible for undelivered shipments due to misspelled/incorrect delivery addresses or an absent recipient.

    13. Complaints

    All complaints and comments can be sent to our customer service through e-mail. We will use our best endeavours to deal with your complaint within 5 working days. If we cannot resolve your complaint immediately, we will inform you of the expected time and keep you informed of all enquiries.

    14. Safety

    We make every effort to protect the safety of users of our online ordering service. We make use of SSL (secure socket layer) technology to secure your data during all sales transactions with us. Any information you provide is fully encrypted so that third parties cannot read it. (For Netscape click on the ‘safety icon’ at the bottom of the taskbar and verify whether SSL2 and SSL3 are ticked. For Internet Explorer click on Image, Menu and Internet Options and click on ‘Advanced’. Check there whether SSL2 and SSL3 are ticked. Your browser will confirm that you are working in a safe environment: an icon with a locked padlock or a picture of a key will appear on the taskbar at the bottom of your screen.
